The Luka Chuppi Jodi, Kartik Aaryan, and Kriti Sanon are set to work on Shehzada, an upcoming 2022 movie produced by Bhushan Kumar Allu Arvind and Aman Gill.
The movie is the remake of 2020 super hit Telugu movie, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which Allu Arjun was in the lead. The remake will be starred by Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aryan and directed by Rohit Dhawan.
The film’s storyline revolves around Bantu (Kartik Aaryan), who is despised and neglected by his father, Valmiki. Bantu subsequently discovers that he was exchanged as a child and that his biological father, Ramachandra, is a wealthy businessman. After discovering the truth, he resolves to find a place for himself inside the family he genuinely belongs to.
The movie is scheduled to be shot in Mumbai and Delhi, which will last for several months. Currently, the shooting of the movie has begun on a massive set in Mumbai.
Kartik Aaryan had previously performed on the song Butta Bomma from the original movie. The performance also earned him praised from the lead of the original movie, Allu Arjun.
On 13th October 2021, Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan took to their social media and shared the first official announcement of the movie,’Shehzada’. On his Instagram post Kartik captioned,” #Shehzada 👑 Duniya ka Sabse Gareeb Prince ❤️”
After the revelation of the movie name and release date, the movie and the actor started trending on Twitter as his fandom was super excited to see him in the upcoming movie. One such fan posted, “Another day and another good news to be heard and that is Kartik Aaryan’s new film Shehzada will be releasing soon…so much excited to see it Kartik Aaryan.”
In a statement, producer Bhushan Kumar stated that he has always wanted to do a large-scale family action-packed musical picture. He is thrilled to be working with Rohit Dhawan, Allu Arvind, and Aman Gill on this project. He also stated that he is excited to see the magic that Kartik, Kriti, Pritam, and the rest of the crew will produce in Shehzada.
When questioned about his thoughts on the film, according to producer Aman Gill, Rohit Dhawan has been working tirelessly and passionately over the last year to mount Shehzada in the best possible way, and they are all eager to support his vision in presenting this picture to audiences on the big screen in theatres next year. Allu, sir, and he are thrilled to be working with Bhushanji on this film.
We will also get to see Rohit Dhawan and Music director Pritam together once again in the movie. The duo had previously worked together in Desi Boyz and Dishoom.
The movie has a high target to perform in the box office as the original film managed to bang around 262 crores during its time on the big screen, and now as announced, the remake is all set to release on November 4th, 2022.
Kartik Aaryan was recently photographed outside a Mumbai hospital after receiving his final dose of Covid vaccination. After becoming infected by the virus after taking his first dose, the actor could not take his second dose on time. After finishing his vaccination, the actor posed and smiled for the paparazzi before departing the premises.
Last week on October 3rd, Kartik Aaryan was seen breaking a sweat playing football on a football field in Bandra for a match. Other celebrities who attended the match were Ranbir Kapoor, Bunty Walia, Arjun Kapoor, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Shashank Khaitan, and Shoojit Sircar. After the match, Kartik smiled and waved at the media.
On the work front, Kartik Aaryan will be seen in Dhamaka, which is set to release in October this year, and Bhool Bhulaiya 2, which will be released on March 25th, 2022. He is set to work on 6 more movies.
Kriti Sanon has been in talks for her incredible fashion. There’s also some news of her moving into a new house this Diwali following the success of her movie. She will soon be seen in theatres on October 29th, 2021, with Rajkumar Rao. Some of her upcoming movies are Adipurush, Bhediya, and Bachchan Pandey.
