In the last few years, many television actors and actresses have started YouTube channels. Some do this to pursue their hobbies, get extra fame, or simply connect with their fans.
Here is a list of 15 television stars who have a YouTube channel.
1. Erica Fernandes
Erika Fernandes is widely known for her portrayal of Sonakshi Dixit in Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi. She recently played Prerna Sharma in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Erica runs a YouTube channel with over 1.49 million subscribers. She has, to date, posted 182 videos on her channel. Erica posts videos about beauty, makeup, styling, skincare, and hair care. She also posts travel vlogs occasionally.
2. Rishi Dev
Rishi Dev rose to fame by playing Naksh Singhania in the popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has not one but two YouTube channels. He has more than a million subscribers on his personal channel. He also co-runs a second channel with his sister Diksha Sharma and brother Sanjay Sharma. The channel is Rimorav vlogs, and it has more than 5.5 million subscribers.
3. Hina Khan
Hina Khan is a television and film actress. The actress who rose to fame with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is now also a YouTuber. Hina has 710K subscribers and has posted 96 videos as of now. She posts makeup tutorials, look books, vlogs, and updates about her subsequent releases.
4. Dipika Kakar
Dipika rose to fame by playing Simar in the famous sitcom Sasural Simar Kaa. She was also a contestant in Bigg Boss 12 and later won the show. She has a YouTube channel named Dipika Ki Duniya. She posts daily vlogs and recipe videos on her channel. She has 2.32 million subscribers, which is the highest number of subscribers than anyone on this list.
5. Raj Anadkat
Raj Anadkat, aka our very own Tapu from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltha Chashma, has a YouTube channel. Currently, he has 1.14 million subscribers. He posts vlogs and challenges on the channel. His challenges always gain more views than his regular videos. Some of the challenges he posted are the pie face challenge, only eating blue food for a day, and only eating mango for a day.
6. Tejaswi Prakash
Tejaswi Prakash rose to fame with the show Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur, in which she played Ragini. She was also a contestant in Khatron Ke Khiladi season 10. The actress has a YouTube channel with 335K subscribers. She posts daily vlogs, travel vlogs, behind the scenes of her shoots, and makeup and skincare tips.
7. Helly Shah
Helly Shah, who is currently playing Riddhima Vansh Raisinghania in Ishq Mein Marjawan 2: Naya Safar, has a YouTube channel. She made this channel, in her words, to give everyone a little bit extra sneak peek of her everyday professional and shoot life. She has 355K subscribers.
8. Rubina Dilaik
Rubina Dilaik runs a YouTube channel where she posts vlogs behind the scenes of her work and skin care and hair care tips. The channel has 636K subscribers. Her most-watched video is her Bali Vlog with over 4.1 million views.
9. Devoleena Bhattacharjee
Devoleena Bhattacharjee is known for playing Gopi Bahu in Saath Nibhana Saathiya. She was also a contestant in Bigg Boss 13. Her youtube channel Devoleena Bhattacharjee the OMG girl, has 559K subscribers. She posts vlogs, recipe videos, and entertaining shorts. Her first video Hey Gopal Krishna Karu Aarti Teri, in which she sings the aarti, has more than 121 million views.
10. Rashami Desai
Rashami Desai gained fame after playing Tapasya in Uttaran. In December 2020, she started a YouTube channel where she posts vlogs. Desai is currently vlogging the process and everyday doings of her life as Rashami prepares her dream home. She has 36.7K subscribers.
11. Shoaib Ibrahim
Dipika Kakar’s husband Shoaib Ibrahim is widely known for his portrayal of Prem in Sasural Simar Ka. He has a YouTube channel with 1.81 million subscribers. He posts daily vlogs and shorts. His video titled First Day of Ramadan has more views than any other video.
12. Siddharth Nigam
Siddharth Nigam recently worked in Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga and is currently part of Hero Gayab Mode On. His YouTube channel has more than 1.60 million subscribers. In January 2021, he posted a short in which he can be seen doing a flip stunt with Tiger Shroff. The video has more than 4 million views.
13. Tanya Sharma
Tanya Sharma is currently part of Sasural Simar Ka 2 as Reema Narayan. He co-runs a YouTube channel with her sister that has 1.93 million subscribers. The channel is named Sharma Sisters. They post vlogs, hauls, challenges, and dance videos together. Their dance videos are very popular. The dance video Paani Paani has 47 million views.
14. Kishwer Merchant
Kishwer Merchant was last seen in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum as Dr. Nishi Sippy. She is currently pregnant, and her video content revolves around it. She posts vlogs, her pregnancy updates, and pregnancy self-care tips. She has 80.7K subscribers. Her most viewed video is when she (along with her husband Suyyash) announces her pregnancy.
15. Pravisht Mishra
Barrister Babu fame Pravisht Mishra has a YouTube channel where he posts poetry videos written by him. Yes!! Our very own Anirudh is a poet. He has 78.4K subscribers and describes himself as ‘Kavi Pravi’ on his channel.
