Deepika Padukone Collaborates With Levi Strauss & Co; 1st Indian To Be Named As Brand Ambassador
Deepika Padukone, the reigning Bollywood starlet, has lent her effortless glamour to a new Levi’s capsule collection.
Levi Strauss & Co, an American clothing brand known globally for its jeans has unveiled its new collection in collaboration with fashion icon Deepika Padukone.
Deepika Padukone x Levi’s® is a collection that embodies the icon’s fashion sense and genuine flair. This first Levi’s® x Deepika Padukone collaboration oozes freshness and confidence, rooted in Levi’s® true style and updated with Padukone’s flair.
Padukone’s signature favorites including athleisure, edgy fake leather pants, and oversized shirts are featured in the collection, which reimagines Levi’s classics through its line of jeans and denim.
Who can forget Deepika Padukone when it comes to fashion? She has a habit of causing a stir on the internet with her exquisite looks. She’s the one who can make a plain jumpsuit look stylish.
According to the brand, the current collection reimagines Levi’s classics through its variety of jeans and denim while also presenting Padukone’s signature favorites like athleisure pieces, edgy faux leather pants, and oversized shirts.
Varsity jackets, co-ord sweatsuits, crop tops, and bralettes will too be a part of the collection. It also includes new on-trend 70s-inspired high waist jeans and cut and sew wide-leg styles, as well as contemporary interpretations of Levi’s denim.
Levi’s stated, “We are ecstatic that Deepika Padukone’s first collaboration as Levi’s brand ambassador is both iconic and personal.
Levi’s has long promoted “genuine self-expression,” and this cooperation exemplifies that philosophy. We chose to collaborate with Deepika because of her iconic style and consumer influence.
Sanjeev Mohanty, SVP and MD—South Asia, Middle East, and Africa, Levi’s remarked, “Her sense of colours, textiles, and silhouettes is distinct and incredibly individual.” Levi’s announced the introduction of a line with actor and global brand ambassador Deepika Padukone on Wednesday.
Talking about Deepika, this is not the first that Deepika has endorsed an international brand. She is a brand ambassador of luxury brands as Nike, Tissot, and Chopard. When it comes to endorsing well-known international luxury products, Deepika is the preference.
She is the first Indian celebrity to be named as Levi’s worldwide brand ambassador. Chopard, an international luxury brand, recently appointed Deepika Padukone as a brand ambassador.
Deepika Padukone does not require an introduction in the fashion industry; she has her style and can make any dress appear poised and lovely. Deepika is a fashion diva who, with her modest and exquisite styles, has lifted the bar in the fashion business.
Even though she favours Indian designers such as Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Manish Malhotra, Padukone also favours European ready-to-wear collections and buzzy New York labels. Each outfit is a standalone experience for her, and she favours eye-catching dresses and saris.

She has written columns for a newspaper, designed her own line of women’s clothing, and is a prominent celebrity endorser for brands and products. Padukone is married to Ranveer Singh, one of her regular co-stars.
Deepika Padukone, who is riding high on success after a string of box office hits, is preparing to establish her lifestyle brand based in India but with a global appeal. The brand’s first category will be dedicated to beauty and skincare. While this category is rooted in India, it will be scientifically supported.
The brand’s name has yet to be revealed, but it is slated to debut in 2022.
