Antim: The Final Truth, produced by Salman Khan Films and directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, is an upcoming Hindi action thriller film.
The film is an adaptation of Pravin Tarde’s Marathi movie Mulshi Pattern which was released in 2018. The movie is set to release on 26th November 2021.
In the movie, Salman Khan, Aayush Sharma, and Mahima Makwana star in the lead roles. Jisshu Sengupta, Nikitin Dheer, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sayaji Shinde, Sharad Ponkshe, and Sachin Khedekar are in supporting roles. Varun Dhawan also makes a surprise appearance in one of the songs.
Plot: Upon experiencing his family’s pain and suffering, Rahul Patil/Rahulya (Aayush Sharma), a farmer’s son, rises to power as he begins his journey as a gang member and spirals into a dark world of politics and power, while a rigorous cop, Rajveer Singh (Salman Khan), begins following his tracks in an attempt to stop him before he becomes all-powerful in the town.
The production of the movie started on 15th November 2020 and by the end of July 2021, the shooting was completed. After completion of the shoot, there was a private screening for the staff at Salman Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel.
On Monday, October 25th, 2021, the much-awaited trailer of the movie was released. The trailer was the first time in which Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma were seen working together.
The trailer was well apprenticed and received a positive blast from the audience. At one point in the trailer, Aayush’s character (Rahulya) tells Salman Khan (Rajveer Singh), “Tu jaanta hai kya? Apun Pune ka naya Bhai hai?” To which, Salman replies, “Tu Pune ka Bhai hai, main pehle se Hindustan ka Bhai hu.” This dialogue was loved by the viewers and even went trending.

A piece of fun information for the Salman Fans from the launch day of the trailer. As per Gaiety Galaxy and Maratha Mandir’s Executive Director Manoj Desai, Salman was so hungry that after opening the gates to the cinema hall, he went into the mall’s canteen and ate 3 samosas forgoing his strict diet.
Reportedly, Zee Studios would serve as the distributor of the movie. The Studio is also associated with movie’s digital, satellite, and music partners. With all of this in mind, the studio and Salman Khan have agreed to work on a commission basis to help the picture succeed.
As per a source, initially, the movie was a part of a package deal along with Radhe which was to be released on the OTT platform, Zee 5. However, as the cinema hall is starting to open, Salman wanted the movie to be on the big screens. After several rounds of discussion, it has been finalized that the movie will premiere on the big screen and then after 4 weeks of release, it will be available on Zee 5 and then a television premiere on Zee Cinema after 8 weeks.
It was recently revealed that the film’s director, Mahesh Manjrekar, was diagnosed with cancer during the filming of the final act of Antim: The Final Truth. Mahesh stated that he dropped 35 kgs throughout this timeframe and that he is now cancer-free. He considers himself fortunate that the chemotherapy did not harm him. During the shoot, he was undergoing chemotherapy. He afterward underwent surgery. He was motivated by his love of his profession. He was not shocked after discovering that he has cancer. He was aware that there are a vast number of cancer patients who fight and live.
While talking about this during the launch of the trailer Salman Khan said, “He didn’t tell us before. As soon as he finished a part of the shoot, he got himself operated.”
Antim: The Final Truth is set to release on the big screens on the 26th of November 2021. On the same day, Satyameva Jayate 2 starring John Abraham will also hit the big screen. Initially, Antim was supposed to be released during Diwali, but due to a delay in the shoot, the movie was pushed back. Both the movie’s production houses are promoting their films. Now only time will tell who will beat whom in the box office.
