The singer has been awarded many renowned titles in which one of them include Padma Bhushan in the year 2005 and the other one Padma Shri in 1971. Besides these, he also received the award Dadasaheb Phalke in the year 2007. Manna Dey has also sung many songs in various regional languages, also most commonly Bengali. Alka Yagnik began her career as a playback singer in the early 1980s in the film “Payal Ki Jhankar”. Her breakthrough in her career came with the song “Ek Do Teen” from the film “Tezaab” in the year 1988.
