Bollywood Superstar Sonu Sood’s 6 Residences Raided By IT

This covid 19 pandemic has not been easy for us, but some people emerged as saviours, like Bollywood actor Sonu Sood. The world crashed down in several areas such as the economy, social structure, health administrations, and people worldwide have faced several physical and mental health issues of all kinds; especially in India, where the economic infrastructure has always been volatile, 

In the midst of this pandemic, fitness icon and Bollywood actor Sonu Sood had contributed a lot by organizing food for the economically affected and has also prepared arrangements for many workers to send them back to their villages.

He has also opened an NGO called the ‘Sood charity foundation’ that has supported many households affected during the pandemic.

According to NDTV, on Wednesday, 16th September, there were tax raids on six of Bollywood actor Sonu Sood’s properties. The reason being that the Bollywood heartthrob had recently successfully had a deal with a Lucknow-based real estate company, due to which all eyes have been upon him.

The raids began after the meeting between the Bollywood celebrity and the chief minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, who had decided to declare the Bollywood star the ambassador of ‘Desh ka mentor’ program for students where Sonu Sood will mentor one out of ten government school students in their respective fields.

Many oppositions of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal called this a ’witch hunt’ against this Bollywood celebrity; however even BJP has commented that this raid has nothing to do with any political enmity or hunt and that the income tax department is an independent department that has an individual protocol away from party politics.

Bollywood celebrity Sonu Sood arranged various transports such as buses, trains, and airplanes for the migrants stuck in the cities due to the pandemic. They had no way of going home, and the celebrity actor aided them in this. Even when the second wave hit, the Bollywood celebrity provided oxygen cylinders and beds for those in need.

It is reported that When Suresh Raina’s aunt had an emergency during the second wave of the pandemic, she needed an oxygen cylinder which Bollywood star Sonu Sood himself arranged in less than ten minutes.

The raids were carried out at six residential locations of the Bollywood actor; one of them also includes his office where he conducts all his charity and foundational work, located in Juhu.

In other news, this Bollywood fitness icon has several upcoming movies in the year 2021, such as ‘Acharya’, directed by Koratala Siva, releasing on October 13th of this year, ‘Prithviraj’ directed by Chanraprakash Dwivedi, releasing on the 5th of November 2021, ‘Police Tiger’, directed by Dharana, releasing on the 4th of December.
