A year and three months ago, we were all shocked to hear about the death of Bollywood’s most loved Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR). Even now, when we rewatch his classics, we feel a mix of nostalgia and sadness as we reminisce about the days he was alive.
SSR’s death not only shook our hearts, but it also shook our minds. Because following this news was a series of allegations, defamation, and pure chaos. And yet, after all that, we are here, a year and three months in only to still be in the same position with no official verdict on what happened that led to the actor’s death.
Recently, actor Sidharth Shukla made headlines as fans were shocked to find out about his untimely death. And just as this news started to settle in the hearts of fans, some were quick to point out some odd connections between his death and Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Fans took to Twitter to state some eerie connections, which made a lot of sense. You see, both the actor were outsiders in the industry, both were immensely talented, and both the actors were very healthy and fit. But, what’s puts a nail in the coffin of these connections is that both the actors passed away at the same hospital, Dr. R.N. Cooper Municipal General Hospital. A coincidence? I don’t think so.
The hospital itself isn’t a stranger to controversy, as during SSR’s death last year, it was under heat because of an inconclusive autopsy and cause of death. They had to reevaluate the results with a panel of doctors from The All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS). And bearing in mind the events of last year, this time, the hospital ordered more tests on Sidharth Shukla’s body before they give their verdict. They have reserved the verdict awaiting further results. As these coincidences are slowly coming to light, fans are suspicious of the hospital.
Recently SSR became the most tweeted hashtag on Twitter as people pointed out these connections, making fans take to media and showing their concerns. As we know, it has been an ongoing fight between fans and the authoritative bodies as they demand to know the reason for Sushant’s Death. The panel of AIIMS doctors who examined the viscera and autopsy reports ruled out any sign of foul play, saying that the evidence points to suicide.
“Sushant Death is a case of suicide, Murder completely ruled out,” said Dr. Sudhir Gupta, who led the AIIMS panel for re-evaluation. So why is it that CBI is still searching for answers? And why is nobody reporting on the so-called investigation? That is still going on a whole year after the incident? What was it that happened to the case? Citizens are still left pondering as to what’s happening behind the scene ?. And to all this confusion, CBI replies, “Death Case of Sushant Singh Rajput, not closed, all angles being probed”. Even though a verdict was made by the AIIMS panel, CBI claims to be doing more intensive investigations using scientific methods.
Even after arresting the apparent prime suspect Rhea Chakraborty, the CBI also ruled her out as a cause of the incident. Evidence proved she moved out of the house six days before his death and had blocked him. During this period, there was a political rift between Maharashtra Government and Bihar Government, along with other states and political parties demanding justice for SSR. And after intervening, the Supreme court asked CBI to continue with the probe investigation. Even after an intensive questioning of the members present in the deceased’s Bandra apartment, the apparent cause remains the same.
The Narcotic Control Bureau even stepped in after the alleged prime suspect’s WhatsApp chats were revealed, instigating that drugs were given to the actor. But, after more search, it was also ruled out as a cause. So I guess everyone’s question is, why is CBI still keeping the investigation ongoing and not disclosing the cause of his death?
Fans are sure that there was indeed foul play done with SSR, as shown by a strong voice on the matter, Shekhar Suman, who tweeted after the actors’ first anniversary, “It is my firm belief that SSR was murdered brutally and did not commit suicide. And if that’s the case why are culprits roaming around scot-free? why justice is being delayed? why there is no closure??? and many more unanswered questions. we need all d answers”.
At this point, people are just desperate to know the reason for their beloved actor’s death. They are also enraged at the CBI for taking so much time to release the cause of SSR’s death. Knowing it’s been a whole year since the incident. And with the recent connections made, fans are left wondering if SSR will ever get the justice he deserves.
