Some Amazing Lesser Known Fun Trivia Facts About Kartik Aaryan

Kartik Tiwari was professionally known as Kartik Aaryan. The actor was born on 22 November 1990. He is an Indian actor who is starred in Hindi films. While pursuing graduation in an engineering degree in biotechnology, the actor worked in modeling and made many attempts to start a career in film. After a resistance for three years, he finally made his acting debut in 2011 with the movie Pyaar Ka Punchnama which was directed by Luv Ranjan and co-starred by Nushrat Bharucha.

The actor played the role of romantic interest of the lead female characters in some films as, movie Akaash Vani (2013), Kaanchi: The Unbreakable (2014), but these films failed to push forward his career. He then subsequently collaborated with director Ranjan and Bharucha in two more buddy films, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015) and, both of these films were commercially successful but received some criticism. Latter, these two films proved to be a breakthrough for his career, followed by it he was starred in the 2019 romantic comedies movie as Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Woh.
In addition to the acting career, the actor also endorses several brands and products. He has co-hosted two of the award ceremonies and has appeared in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list of the year 2019.

Early life and career

Kartik Tiwari was born in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, on 22 November 1990. His mother and father both are doctors. His father is a pediatrician, and his mother, Mala, is a gynecologist. Actor pursued his engineering degree in biotechnology from Navi Mumbai’s D Y Patil College of Engineering; along with it, he was secretly harboring a desire for a career in films. The actor used to skip classes and travel for two hours to attend auditions. Aaryan began his modeling career while pursuing a degree in university, and after three years of unsuccessfully auditioning for films, he also completed an acting course from the Kreating Charakters institute. Aryan informed his parents about his desire to become an actor only after he signed his first Hindi film.
During his third year of college, Aaryan made his first acting debut with Luv Ranjan’s buddy film Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011). The actor found a casting call for the film on a social platform as Facebook and secured the role after auditioning for five months. He had a limited amount of money at that point, and he lived in an apartment with 12 other aspiring actors and, by cooking for them, earned money. In Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Aaryan’s monologue and the chemistry between the three men were appreciative. The film emerged as a successful commercial hit, and he received a nomination for the Producers Guild Film Award for Best Male Debut.
Aaryan completed his engineering degree at the insistence of his mother after the release of Pyaar Ka Punchnama. His next film release was two years later when he collaborated once again with director Ranjan and Bharucha in the comedy-romance Akaash Vani (2013). Subhash Ghai was impressed by Aaryan acting and cast him in his directorial Kaanchi: The Unbreakable (2014). In which Aaryan played the love interest with the title character. Despite being a brief role, Aaryan agreed to the project to work with Ghai. Both the films Akaash Vani and Kaanchi were not commercially successful, leading Aaryan to question his career prospects. The actor won a Stardust Award for Best Actor In A Comic Role for Pyaar Ka Punchnama.
In the following year, Aaryan portrayed a young Muslim boy who falls in love with the older woman in Tanuja Chandra’s short movie Silvat. As he enjoyed working in comedy movies, Aaryan was next starred alongside actor Paresh Rawal and actress Kriti Kharbanda in the film Guest in London (2017), which is about a happy young couple troubled by an unwelcome guest.
Success

Now for the fourth time, Aaryan collaborated with Ranjan and Bharucha in the movie Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, which also reunited him with Singh.
The actor firmly believed that the success of the movie Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety allowed him to choose a wider variety of roles. He was next starred in the movie Luka Chuppi (2019), Co-starring Kriti Sanon. The movie was filmed in his hometown of Gwalior, in which he had to depict social issues of live-in relationships in small-town through comedy. He was next starred in the comedy movie Pati Patni Aur Woh alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday, a remake of the 1978 film. Both the film Pati Patni Aur Woh and Luka Chuppi were commercially very successful, each grossing over ₹1 billion turnovers worldwide.

Aaryan’s first film release of 2020 was the romantic drama Love Aaj Kal which was a spiritual successor to Ali’s 2009 film of the same name. In this film, he played dual roles of young men, opposite the actresses Aarushi Sharma and Sara Ali Khan. The actor worked hard on the mannerisms and body language of the characters to differentiate them from each other in the movie.
The actor is currently busy shooting the comedy films Dostana 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 of 2021. Aryan will soon start work on the Hindi remake of the 2020 Telugu super hit film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo in 2021; along with it, and he is also committed to featuring in Pyaar Ka Punchnama 3 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 2.

Aaryan also endorses several products and brands, including the clothing brand Manyavar and sportswear brand Hummel International. Aryan has also co-hosted the 2019 Zee Cine Awards with famous actor Vicky Kaushal and the 2018 IIFA Awards with Ayushmann Khurrana,

In the year 2016, he became a member of the All-Stars Football Club, which organizes football matches for the charity of the people. After dislocating his toe during practice, Aryan had to back out for the scheduled club’s next tournament held in Singapore in 2018. During World Environment Day, Aaryan raised awareness on rising plastic pollution. The Election Commission of India appointed Aryan to raise awareness on voter participation in his home state of Madhya Pradesh during elections.

In the list of Times of India, Aaryan was placed on position eighth in the country’s most desirable men of 2018. With an estimated annual income of ₹103.8 million in 2019, he appeared in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list, ranking 67th.
