Sahabzade Irfan Ali Khan was professionally known as Irrfan Khan or plainly Irrfan. Irrfan Khan may be a renowned Indian screen actor, typically recognized for his work primarily in Hindi movies and his works in Hollywood and British movies. He was born in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on 7 January 1967 to a Pashto Muslim family. Irrfan Khan’s mother, Begum Khan, came from the Tonk Hakim family, and his father, Jagiradar Khan, was from Khajuriya village near the Tonk district. Irrfan Khan’s father had a tire business, and his mother was a housewife. Due to his abilities, Irrfan was selected for under 23 at the Col CK Nayudu Tournament. His Lack of finance for his tournament ticket to Ajmer forced him to give up his cricket sweatshop. Later he dropped “Khan” from his name, explaining his reason in an interview in 2016 that he wanted his work to define him, unlike his ancestors.

 

Illness and Death
Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with a disease in February 2018, which he had not disclosed earlier. The actor put the controversies to an end, stating on his Twitter handle that he was affected by a neuroendocrine tumor – a rare sort of cancer that will target various parts of the body the same year Irrfan Khan traveled to London for the treatment.

On 28 April 2020, Irrfan Khan was taken to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai, where he was treated for colon infection. After four days after his mother’s death in Jaipur, On 29 April 2020, Irrfan Khan, the most talented and versatile actors that Indian cinema has seen to date, passed away at the age of 54 after being hospitalized in Mumbai due to a colon infection.
The sudden death of Irrfan Khan, a remarkable artist, and astonishing human, has sent ridge among the Indians and the world. Over the years, Khan’s characters, the actor usually used simple and true to real life, have made their way into our hearts.
