Ayushmann Khurrana is a talented actor, television host, and singer. Born 14 September 1984, Ayushmann was raised in a Punjabi family in Chandigarh. His father is an astrologer and author, while his mother is a housewife. He got married young. He has two children with his wife, Tahira Kashyap. He married Tahira Kashyap in 2008. He also has a brother, Aparshakti Khurana, who is an actor, radio jockey, and television host. He is a celebrated artist. He started out as a performer in 2003. His performances are often characterized by brilliant script choices and unconventional plot lines. He is known for his versatility and hard work.


Ayushmann Khurrana won the second season of the reality television show MTV Roadies in 2004, one of the famous plays, and then he ventured into an anchoring career. He made his first film debut in 2012 with the romantic comedy movie Vicky Donor, in which he performed the role of a sperm donor, from which he earned the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He also starred in the commercially and critically successful romance movie Dum Laga Ke Haisha in 2015. Khurrana’s played a role as a blind pianist in Andhadhun and perform an honest cop role in Article 15 movie, and for his best performance, he won two consecutive Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor, and he also gains the National Film Award for Best Actor for the former.


Along with acting love to sing, and Khurrana has sung for several of his films, including the song “Pani Da Rang,” which gained him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer.


Early life & career

Ayushmann first appeared on Channel V’s Popstars in 2003. He was rejected from a reality show called India’s largest Cinestar ki Khoj. In 2004, Ayushmann became a part of Roadies Season 2 and subsequently won it. Not only did he won the show, but he must also have won a thousand hearts with his outshining performance and down-to-earth personality. This helped him transition and prosper into his anchoring career.

Nishant Khurrana, named Ayushmann Khurrana, was born on 14th September 1984 in Chandigarh parents Poonam and P. Khurrana. His parents changed his name from Nishant Khurrana to Ayushmann Khurrana when he was three years old. He was alumni of Guru Nanak Khalsa College. He completed his studies at St. John’s High School, Chandigarh, and DAV College, Chandigarh. He was specialized in English literature and had a master’s in Mass Communication completed from the School of Communication Studies, Punjab University. He did serious theatre for five years. He was also the co-founder of DAV College’s “Aaghaaz” and “Manchtantra,” the active theatre groups in Chandigarh. He thought up and acted in street plays and earned prizes in national college festivals such as Mood Indigo (IIT Bombay) and St. Bedes Shimla. OASIS, i.e., Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani. He also earned a Best Actor award for playing Ashwatthama in Dharamvir Bharati’s Andha Yug.

Later, he also completed his master’s in Mass Communication from the School of Communication Studies at Panjab University. He pursued theatre for five years seriously. He is known to have performed street plays in college festivals such as Mood Indigo of IIT Bombay, OASIS of BITS, Pilani, and St. Bedes in Shimla.

Vicky Donor was his Acting Debut in Bollywood in the year 2012. He was even awarded Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Career

Television shows and early career (2004–2011)
Ayushman had his first job as a radio personality at BIG FM, Delhi. He got his first job after completing his post-graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication. He hosted the show called Big Chai – Maan Na Maan, Main Tera Ayushmann, for which he won the Young Achievers Award in 2007. He was also among the youngest recipient of the Bharat Nirman Award in New Delhi.
He has also worked in shows like MTV Fully Faltoo Movies, Cheque De India, and Jaadoo Ek Baar. After that, he started his anchoring journey. He began to co-anchor India’s Got Talent on Colors with Nikhil Chinapa. He has anchored on the second season of MTV Rock On, Extra Innings T20 for Indian Premier League Season 3 on SET Max, and Just Dance on STAR Plus. After completing his schooling and graduation in Journalism, his first job was as a radio presenter at BIG FM, Delhi. He put on the show Big Chai – Maan Na Maan, Main Tera Ayushmann, and also earned the Young Achievers Award in 2007 for his best performance. 2012–2015: Film debut and career struggles

Ayushmann Khurrana’s acting debut was Vicky Donor. It was launched in 2012and Khurana’s co-stars were Annu Kapoor and Yami Gautam. It was also the production house debut of the other actor John Abraham. He had attended acting workshops and interacted with medical professionals to prepare for his role. He has also won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer for the song ‘Pani Da Rang’, which was sung and composed by him for the same film.

Movies like Rohan Sippy’s Nautanki Saala! (2013), Bewakoofiyaan (2014), Hawaizaada (2015), and Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015) followed. All these movies were a great stepping stone for him. Controversies

One of the very few controversies that blew up with Ayushamnn’s name in it was during the launch of Bala. Almost a year ago, Bala had gotten into an argument when Ujda Chaman, another movie, had come around the same time with a similar script. However, Ayushamnn seemed to be unfazed by the discussion as he was confident about the writing.
Another controversy blew up at the time of Article 15. Even though the film presented healthy dialogue, there were rumors of the film being anti-brahman. This was later solved by a press statement that said that movie does not take sides and would have been interrupted by the Censor Board if there was any such agenda.
