As the name suggests, this is a story of a family man who has to manage his family life and work-life effectively. But, the story has a twist; he faces a challenge to conceal his real profession from his family for the sake of their security. The entry of Rajji (Samantha Akkineni) in the second season was full of suspense and surprise. Fans of the series consider Samantha as the lucky charm of the show. Mirzapur has been a source of memes since the first season, promoting the series more than its advertisements. It also includes strong female characters like Beena Tripathi (Rasika Duggal), Gajgamini Gupta(Shweta Tripathi), Dimpy Pandit (Harshita Gaur), Sweety Pandit (Shreya Pilgaonkar), Madhuri (Isha Talwar), which the viewers loved. This Neo-noir produced by Anushka Sharma has explained many moral values through the story and its phenomenally portrayed characters. Inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary(Jaideep Ahlawat) is struggling hard to be a good husband of Renu Chaudhary(Gul Panag), an accountable father of Siddharth Chaudhary (Bodhisattva Sharma) and a loyal police officer. When he gets the charge of a high-profile case, he passionately works hard with Imran Ansari (Ishwak Singh) to find the real culprits. During the investigation, he realizes that the accused of the murder – Hathoda Tyagi (Abhishek Banerjee), Tope Singh(Jagjeet Sandhu), Kabir M(Asif Khan), and Cheeni(Mairembam Ronaldo Singh), are victims of sadism, which in turn has made them reluctant to commit heinous crimes out of revenge.

This story also has journalist Sanjeev Mehra( Neeraj Kabi), his wife, Dolly Mehra ( Swastika Mukherjee), and his love interest Sara Matthews ( Niharika Lyra Dutt) in important roles. Sanjeev Mehra doesn’t value the caring nature of his kind-hearted wife and cheats her. It has successfully shown the dark sides of casteism in Indian society. The painful stories of the four accused questions humanity. On the other hand, the character of Dolly Mehra inspires us to adopt stray dogs and sympathize with animals around us.

5. Tandav

This Political drama directed by Ali Abbas Zafar is one of the most controversial web series of the decade. Starring Saif Ali Khan (Samar Partap Singh), Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub (Shiva Shekhar ), Kritika Kamra (Sana Mir), Sunil Grover (Gurpal Singh), Sarah-Jane Dias (Ayesha Pratap Singh), Dimpal Kapadia (Anuradha Kishore), Gauahar Khan (Maithili Sharan) in lead roles, the first season received both, love and hate from the audience. The story of this series revolves around two ambitious politicians and the people associated with them. As the story proceeds, it unveils the true colors of every character gradually. The suspense in every episode urges viewers to binge-watch the series with total concentration.
